Bling (Confessions of a King)
Song by The Killers

Bones
Song by The Killers, written by lead vocalist Brandon Flowers, bassist Mark Stoermer and drummer Ronnie Vannucci. It is the eighth track on their second album Sam's Town, released in October 2006. It was originally titled It's Only Natural in its early stages and was to be the center-piece of their second album entitled Make You Feel Dirty, which, as the album title suggests, would feature edgy songs that would make the listener feel dirty much like Bones.

Brandon Flowers
Lead vocalist and keyboardist of The Killers. Musically, Flowers identifies as an anglophile and also as a fan of the bands New Order, the Smiths, and Pet Shop Boys. He credits the latter's song "Being Boring", especially the lyrics "I never dreamt that I would get to be/The creature that I always meant to be", as a major life influence.

Hot Fuss
Debut album by Las Vegas-based post-punk band The Killers, first released in 2004. Hot Fuss sold more than 2,500,000 copies in the first year of its release. After being nominated for five Grammys, it has since sold more than 5,000,000 copies worldwide.

Somebody Told Me
Song by The Killers. Lead singer Brandon Flowers refers to this song as "Our most Vegas-influenced song on the album. Sin city, The Strip. It's where I grew up and of course it affects the songs I write. This song has a lot of sexual energy."

The Killers

When You Were Young
Song written and performed by Las Vegas-based rock band, The Killers, and is the third track on their second album Sam's Town, released in October 2006. The song was released as the lead single from that album in September 2006. It has proven to be one of their most successful singles, peaking at #14 on the U.S. Hot 100 (only "Mr. Brightside" peaked higher on this chart at #10 in 2004), as well as their only number 1 to date on the U.S. Modern Rock Tracks. It is also their highest charting single to date in the United Kingdom and Australia, peaking at numbers 2 and 10 respectively.
