About me

Name: Wendy
Age: 23
Birthday: 17 September
Country: The Netherlands
Studied: Music

September 1984 I was born in the south of Dutchieland (aka The Netherlands). I'm proud of where I'm from and happy to be Dutch but this doesn't stop me from living in different places. I have lived in 5 different cities in Holland (for school/work/internships), in Belgium (Antwerp), Slovak Republic (C'achtice + Bošáca) and in the Czech Republic (Prague). New York is still on my list and I'd love to go back and live in Prague again (not forever but a year maybe). I love traveling and I do love going on vacations; but I prefer to live a bit longer in a city/country so I can get to know the people, the language and the culture. Right now, I speak: Dutch, German, Slovak, Czech and a tiny bit of French.

Being born in september means I'm a virgo. Which I love - most of the time. A lot of Virgo features are within me: The Dutch schoolsystem is very hard to explain so I won't even go there, but after highschool I studied music. I loved it very much and did a few internships. The first one was in Antwerp in a theatre which was lovely. For my second internship I worked at a music venue and was the stagemanager there - loved it! My final internship was at a local organisation that organised a lot of music events in that area and helped local bands and such; I was glad when this internship ended.

My dream job is programmer. Not of computers but the programmer of a smaller to medium sized venue. Music is my life and I hope that one day this dream will truly happen.

What else..? Next to my love for traveling and music, I also love designing and may be a little addicted to fanlistings. I've been in the fanlisting world since 2002 and have met some great people through it.

As for some final information that won't interest anyone: I have 1 sister (Nikki) who is 4 years younger than me, my mum and dad are still together and I have a dog named Diesel. He has some Beagle in him, but he's a little taller, skinnier and doesn;t have a white ending on his tail. He was abused for the first 8 months of his life, then some dutch people brought him from the Canery Islands to a shelter in Holland. 4 different people took him home but brought him back soon after, 2 of them even brought him back after only 1 day. He couldn't be alone but can you blame him when people bring him back everytime? I went to see him a few times in the shelter and after he was bitten by another dog I immediately brought him home. The beginning was difficult - he was scared (especially of my feet. how someone can kick a dog goes beyond me) and didn't want to be alone. I slept downstairs a few days till he figured out how to come upstairs. He ran away a few times but luckily came back and after 2 months he never ran away again. He's not so scared anymore, sometimes a little of strangers and he's happily sleeping in the sun right now =).
