Grab Tricks

Melon
The front hand reaches behind the front leg, grabs the heel side in front of the bindings while the front leg is boned. Also, the wrist is rotated inwards to complete the grab.

Crail Air
The rear hand grabs the toe edge in the front of the front foot while the rear leg is behind.

Indy
Back hand grabs the toe edge between the bindings

Japan
Like the method but the front hand grabs the toe edge in front of the front foot and with front knee bent slightly more than the back. The body arches back and the board is pulled under and back so the base of the board is now behind and the front arm now lies across the face of the board just in front of the front foot.

Lime Grab
The rider positions themselves 90 degrees straight up in the air while grabbing the nose and tail.

Method
Like melon with a tweak. Front hand grabs the heel edge of the board and with knees bent, the body twists and arches and the back leg is extended so the base of the board is now facing more forward. Different from skateboarding's method of curling the board to you.

Mindy
Grab the toe edge of your board with both hands.

Mosquito
A Japan, but with a melon grab.

Mute
Front hand grabs the toe edge between the bindings, and is either not spun, or spun BS

Nosegrab
Front hand grabs the nose of the board

Roast Beef
Back hand grabs through the legs to the heel edge

Chicken Salad
Front hand grabs through the legs to the heel edge

Shifty
The rider shifts their board about 90 degrees either BS or FS, and occasionally at the same time, their upper body in the opposite direction at the same time.

Slob
Front hand grabs the toe edge of the board. Must be spun Frontside

Stalefish
Back hand grabs the heel edge of the board at the back foot, around the outside of the knee

Swiss Cheese Air
The rear hand reaches between the legs and grabs the heel edge in front of the front foot while the back left is boned.

Nuclear
The rear hand grabs the nose of the board

Tailfish
This is similar to the Tindy. Back hand grab on heel edge between rear binding and tail, often tweaked. Slight more respect than tindy.

Tailgrab
Back hand grabs the tail of the board

Taipan air
The front hand reaches behind the front foot and grabs the toe edge between the bindings. The front knee is then bent to touch the board tuck knee style.

Tindy
The Tindy grab is a controversial grab. The back hand grabs between the tail and the back binding on the toe edge. Some find this trick to be a beginner's trick, while none believe that when tweaked, the Tindy is very stylish.

BS Truck Driver
The rider grabs Mute and Stalefish at the same time putting the arms in the BS spin direction also known as a drunk driver.

FS Truck Driver
The rider grabs Indy and Melon at the same time putting the arms in the FS spin direction

Stiffy
Grab between your toes (front middle of the board) and stiff your legs

Flying squirrel
Turn 90 degrees and grab, with both hands, the heel side of the board, (grab near the heels) then, turn back 90 degrees.
