Wishlist

Here's my little list of fanlistings I would do almost anything for to own them. All these fanlistings have wonderful owners that are doing a great job. This is absolutely not against them, it's just my dream list =).


Gavin DeGraw
He is music

Gavin is one of the most talented and gifted musicians out there. I fell in love with him, his music and his voice right after I heard him for the first time. He has such an amazing voice and puts so much emotion in his singing and music making. I must be honest; I love Chariot Stripped more than his 'regular' albums, just because it shows the real Gavin more - the Gavin you get live. He is made to be on stage =).



Prague
My favourite city and the most beautiful city in the entire world

I actually started this fanlistings years ago in 2003, but unfortunately had to close it when I moved abroad and had no computer or internet access. I felt absolutely horrible closing this one as it was so dear to me. It was my very first fanlisting and I would do almost anything to get to run it again. Prague has been my favourite city ever since my parents took me there when I was just a little girl. I only remember a few things from back then, but I went there many times while I was living in the Slovak Republic as an exchange student. After that year I still went to Prague on vacation and 1 vacation decided to just stay there. I found an appartment and a job within a week and lived there for 6 months. I miss it every day so it's very likely that I'll be there again soon <3.

This is what they call an addiction. When I see a nice one, I simply have to buy it. I love how they look, how they feel and their comfortableness. I love to wear them and see them on other people [weird much?].



Traveling
My passion

My biggest love in life with music, is traveling. I have loved traveling ever since I was little and still love doing so. There's a whole world out there that I need to see =). Traveling is me, that may sound weird but it's what I need to do and enjoy so very much.



Snow
Pure perfection

Snow has always fascinated me; and it's simply gorgeous (magical really). I prefer winter above any of the other seasons and snow is the main reason for that. We don't get the amount of snow in Holland as I wish but when it's here I go crazy. A few years ago when I was at college; I woke up early morning (ohw I love getting up early..), crawled over my boyfriend to get out of bed, peeked with half closed eyes through the curtains hoping it wouldn't be raining and what did I see? Huge amounts of whitey goodness! My eyes sprang open and I smiled (which I normally don't do before noon). I screamed snow at my b/f and called my mum to tell her (like a little girl on christmas eve). My mum lives only 4 hours away but there was no snow there. I jumped around some more, got dressed, grabbed my school stuff and ran outide. I seriously nearly drowned in all the snow. I know I know, other countries have more snow BUT the snow came up to my knees!! (which is serious stuff for Holland). While I was outside waiting for my b/f I danced a bit (read: a lot). Crazy!! ;). By the way; going to school by bike with 2 people on it is erm.. interesting to say the least. It took us 3 times longer than usually (with quite a few falls) but the fun we had! When we finally arrived at school we were told school was cancelled due to all the snow. We made the ride of death for nothing! Ohw well, snowfight then.. :D

As I said before; snow is just absolutely gorgeous (and fun!); it's also very calming. It lifts my spirit and calms me down. Like it washes all worries away. I think it has that effect on more people. Whenever it snowed/snows and I'm outside; everyone's so friendly. Everyone's actually cleaning their cars and bikes with a smile on their face. And they all say hello to eachother =).

Another reason why I love snow you ask? Snowboarding!!!

On a cold winterday, I love putting on thick clothes, gloves, sjawl (?) and a beanie, walk around, find a quiet place and just write (poetry mostly) - sometimes I try to draw the beautiful surroundings but I mostly write =). Those days are just pure perfection.

Also, I love how snowflakes feel on my skin when it starts to snow, I love how they dance down from the sky, I love how they look in the light at night and I love how they make the greyness of the world disappear.



Dr. Gregory House
Love

Yes, he can be mean and rude, but ohw my gosh I love him. I wouldn't mind having him as my doctor.. He's a brilliant doctor, sexy and funny (his facial expressions crack me up). Whatever he does, you can always tell if he really dislikes/hates the person or if he 'secretely' loves him/her (like Wilson - sure he gives him a lot of troubles, but when he needs him, he's there); a good friend (you might need to have a little patience though ;)).



Writing
Not a day goes by without me writing

There are many reasons why I love writing. The most important one being that everything goes and I can really pour out my heart. Sometimes it's hard to voice what I'm feeling, but the words flow out when I get a pen and paper. I has helped me greatly in the past when I wasn't doing well; it was and still is a way for me to get it out, to relieve myself of those pains and dark feelings. Another reason why I love writing is that you can dream away, write down wherever you mind drifts off to.



Photography
Capture the moment

There are so many beautiful things around us, and things that should be remembered; how could you not want to capture all these on camera? My dad has always loved photography and that's where I get the love from. Years and years ago I started to play around with his camera; it started innocently enough with just taking pictures on vacations but as I grew older, it became more and more of a passion. I absolutely love photography and cherish all my beloved pictures. It's such a great feeling to take a picture that expresses all the emotion you felt upon looking at it.
